Theatre 99 Box Office and House Management position available
A non-performer who has some knowledge of and interest in theatre/performing arts.
People person who is trustworthy and has a great attitude. Excellent customer services skills required. The ideal candidate is able to work in and contribute to a happy and professional theatre environment.
21 years old or older
Please do not apply if you need weekend nights off regularly.
Must be available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights to manage box office and house. Some Thursday availability will be required.
Coordinating, training and maintaining Volunteer usher group
Responsible for taking reservations, selling tickets and using box office software
Maintaining the appearance of lobby and bathroom areas before, during and after performances.
Resolving any patron complaints/issues arising during productions
Coordinate with Stage Management prior to each performance to ensure a smooth on-time show.
Prepare appropriate sales reports at conclusion of box office hours.
The job is approximately 20 hours a week. Pay is salary plus tips.
More hours are required during Charleston Comedy Festival in January and Piccolo Fringe every Spring. Compensation will be adjusted accordingly during the festivals.
