Born and raised in Middletown, MD, Leah left the land of Old Bay and Maryland crabs in 2010 to attend the College of Charleston. After receiving her B.A. in Political Science, she couldn’t bring herself to leave the Holy City and began working at Engaging Creative Minds, bringing arts integrated opportunities to schools in the Lowcountry. It was there she discovered her passion for teaching and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching for Early Childhood Education. Taking an improv class has always been on her bucket list and in 2014 she signed up for her very first class here at Theatre 99. This was Leah’s first on-stage experience (except for that one time in 7th grade when she played a cat) and it was love at first line. When she’s not being a goof ball on stage, Leah enjoys photography, drawing, backpacking, and Netflix.atre teacher, he is the director of their improv troupe The Fighting Gnomes that collaborates with Theatre 99 on the annual South Carolina High School Improv Tournament.
