Ali Sylvester

Anna Lin

More about Anna:

From across the land, Anna joins Theatre 99 after graduating and performing with teams from Finest City Improv. Singing about her day half the time, you can feel her passion for Improv! One of the best things that ever happened to Anna was the first time she said “Yes and…” to improv and she has been supporting herself and her fellow improvisers ever since. She has traveled the world from Japan to Maldives performing on stage, and has a background in Dance, Acting, and Education. One of her favorite moments on stage was when she played a wobbly-kneed grandfather on a journey with his granddaughter, searching for the illustrious Pearl of Youth! Was it hilarious? Maybe. Was it fun to do? Absolutely!

Take a look in the audience and you’ll likely find her husband Ray, chuckling softly with his “dimple, no dimple” smile.

Greg Tavares

More about Greg:

Greg started The Have Nots! with Brandy and some other friends in 1995. He co-founded Theatre 99 with Brandy and Timmy in 2000 and has been improvising since 1985. He wrote the curriculum taught in Theatre 99’s training program and gets as much out of teaching as he does from being on stage. He has a BFA in acting from USC and an MFA in directing from the Univ. of Nebraska, but still has nightmares that he never finished high school. When he is not acting or directing he is hanging out with his best friend and wife Sara.

Josh Christian

More about Josh:

As a graduate of Clemson University’s Architecture program, using his imagination and vision to create his “world” (whether physical or imaginary) has always come naturally to Josh. Upon joining Theatre 99’s Training Program as a way to break the monotony of the “real world,” Josh discovered an invaluable outlet to create and was immediately enthralled. Armed with a new found confidence and insatiable appetite to perform, Josh has sought every opportunity to improve as an actor/improviser and has also performed with other theaters locally, including several roles with the Footlight Players, Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theatre and Threshold Repertory Theatre. He has never looked back.

Josh became a company member in 2013 and is constantly surprised and amazed at the talent and support around him. Improv has taught him so many life lessons about the “real world” he was initially trying to escape.

Lily Stanton

More about Lily:

Lily wishes she was like Jess in New Girl but she’s actually more of a Winston. She’s also a Carrie, a Phoebe, and a Ted Mosby.

Meredith Kidd

More about Meredith:

Meredith has a B.A. in Production Studies in Performing Arts with a concentration in Theatre, and minor in Film Studies from Clemson University. Her college summers were spent in NYC where she attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory and worked as a Casting Intern for Telsey + Company. Upon graduating from Clemson University, she realized her true passion is in comedy and made the official move to NYC. There she studied at The PIT and cut her teeth in stand-up comedy at venues such as Gotham Comedy Club. She eventually returned to her roots in SC and became a company member at Theatre 99 where she now does what she loves most – create comedy with others through improvisation! She enjoys taking her passion on the road and has performed in comedy improv festivals such as the UCB Del Close Marathon, Pittsburgh Comedy Festival, and Atlanta Improv Festival. She is so thankful to be a part of the warm and welcoming family at Theatre 99 and looks forward to the many more years of fun and laughter to come!
