All Classes are held at Theatre 99 (280 Meeting Street)

  • MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS CLASS.
  • Includes 1 FREE ticket to EVERY Wednesday (Laughway to the Weekend) and Thursday (Laugh for a Lincoln or Student Jam) during the seven weeks.

This 6-week class is super fun and no previous improv experience is necessary! You will learn the Theatre 99 method to create improvised scenes based on audience suggestions. Students in level 1 will participate in group games and exercises that help everyone remember how to play. The focus will be on having fun and learning how to start an improv scene. You will learn some of the improv games that we perform here at Theatre 99.

All Level 1 students receive FREE tickets to Wednesday and/or Thursday night improv shows at Theatre 99 while they are taking the class. Not valid for special events. (Must reserve in advance via email. This is a $90 value. 

All classes are held in person at Theatre 99 (280 Meeting Street)

Cancellation / Refund Policy: There are no refunds if you cancel less than 7 days before the start date. If you have to cancel you must notify Theatre 99 via email no less than 7 days before the date of the class in order to get refunded. All refunds include a $8 service charge. To register for any class at Theatre 99 you must pay in full to hold a spot.

Andy Adkins grew up in Mount Pleasant, SC, and studied at the University of Miami and the College of Charleston.  He enjoys music, theatre, nature, and comedy.  He likes cats and is good at Jeopardy. In 2010, he joined the Theatre 99 company and is thrilled to be a part of it!
