Belvin entered the hallowed gates of Theatre 99 Improv Academy in 2017 and has loved the art form ever since. He also writes fiction, draws comics, and plays keys, pursuits that resemble improv with more wrist strain. An Isle of Palms native, he’s currently co-chair of the Charleston Climate Coalition, working to make his fictional world (a Lowcountry where we’re fully mobilized on the climate crisis) a reality.

“This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, call it play.” — Alan Watts, founder of improv comedy.
