Heather grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida cheering on the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Marlins ::crickets::. She receieved a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Miami in 2000 and receieved her Medical Degree from the University of South Florida in 2004. She moved to Charleston in 2004 and completed her residency training in Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is currently working on a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She started taking improv classes at Theatre 99 in 2009 and is so thankful to be part of such a positive and talented improv community. When not nerding out at work or performing improv, she enjoys playing softball, football, racquetball, and decorating cupcakes. She is not obsessed with her cats at all; in case you were wondering.
