Growing up in South Carolina, Michael King loved any comedy he could get his hands on. After graduating from Clemson University, with a degree as far away from improvisation as you could imagine (Computer Engineering), he landed a job in Charleston, SC. He immediately discovered Theatre 99 and fell in love with the art of improvisation. He quickly signed up for the improv training program at T99 and joined the local improv practice group immediately after Level 1. He is currently the improv practice group coordinator helping new improvisers fall in love with improv the same way he did. He also performs at Theatre 99 with the practice group every month.
