Special Class with Shannon O’Neill: Crashganics
Friday, June 7
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $45.00
Prerequisite: You must have completed Level 4 or higher in the Theatre 99 Improv Training Program

Shannon O’Neill teaches a style of organic improv that forces you to be in the moment. This two-hour workshop will focus on the beginning. Openings, edits, and the start of scenes. Ideally, students in this workshop have been exposed to a few or all of the following openings, pattern game, scene painting, sound and movement, invocation & documentary. But it’s not a deal breaker if they haven’t.

Shannon is a veteran performer of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and long time member of the NYC Improv community. She hosted and produced ASSSSCAT NYC for almost a decade, is a member of the legendary Stepfathers, and is Creator/Host/Performer of your favorite improv show RaaaatScraps. You’ve seen her in a lot of tv shows like Broad City, The Chris Gethard Show, High Maintenance, Difficult People, Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter and The Other Two. You can see her take a dramatic turn in How To Fix a Drug Scandal on Netflix and the wonderful queer thriller Women Who Kill streaming somewhere. Google it! She has been teaching improv for almost 20 years and loves it. Stalk her on instagram – @spotastic
