  • Cost is $199 (MUST PAY IN ADVANCE TO HOLD A SPOT)
  • Includes 1 FREE ticket to Wednesday (Laughway to the Weekend) and Thursday (Laugh for a Lincoln or Student Jam) during the seven weeks. (Not valid for January 28 and 29)

This 6-week class is super fun! You will learn the Theatre 99 method to create improvised scenes based on audience suggestions. Students in level 1 will participate in group games and exercises that help everyone remember how to play. The focus will be on having fun and learning how to start an improv scene. You will learn some of the improv games that we perform here at Theatre 99. MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS CLASS.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

There are no refunds if you cancel less than 7 days before the start date. If you have to cancel you must notify Theatre 99 via email no less than 7 days before the date of the class in order to get refunded. All refunds include a $8 service charge. To register for any class at Theatre 99 you must pay in full to hold a spot. Class registration can not be transferred to a different class.

Josh Christian is an improv performer and teacher at Theatre 99, where he’s been performing bold, collaborative comedy since 2013. A seasoned ensemble member, he’s performed at festivals up and down the East Coast with teams like Mystery MeatAll Due Respect, and Ghosted. As a teacher, Josh emphasizes fun, presence, and ensemble support, encouraging students to trust the power of fundamentals and play with confidence. Known for his malleability and instinctive play, he brings whatever a scene needs, always in service of making his team and audiences feel like geniuses.
