$10 tickets! What a deal! Comedians and best buds, Evan Berke and Vince Fabra, began their comedy careers in Charleston. While in Charleston, Vince was a company member of Theatre 99 and a regular in the stand-up scene. There isn’t a theater, bar, or venue in the Lowcountry that Vince hasn’t performed in. Seriously. Vince even regularly performed comedy on a tour bus that drove locals and visitors around the downtown peninsula. After living in Charleston for 11 years, Vince and his family relocated to Birmingham, AL in 2021. His debut comedy special “Let’s All Agree” was filmed in Charleston, SC and is now available on YouTube!
Evan Berke did his first open mic at the Upper Deck Tavern on King Street as an 18-year-old freshman at the College of Charleston. Evan’s relationship with comedy evolved from a small stage hobby to being totally immersed in the local communities, as he became the resident Comedy Director at the JAIL BREAK Music & Arts Festival. Throughout his comedy career, Evan has showcased at legendary clubs around the country including Gotham and Comic Strip in New York, The Comedy Store and Ice House in Los Angeles, and Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas to name a few. Evan is currently based in Nashville, TN. His comedy album “Twice Removed” debuted no. 1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and the full special is now available on YouTube!
